OMG this was a staple of my family growing up. YOu know us Italians. But we roll ours off a fork and make them little spiral looking. They are so easy.

um…something tells me that gnocchi is much more fun to eat than to make. But it does look like you had some fun. And whenever wine is involved one can’t help but have fun, right

My gnocchi making experiment failed miserably – it was all mushy! I used a grater instead of a ricer. Maybe the ricer gets more water out of the potatoes? I’ll have to try it this way. Oh and the wine!

I just have one word to add to this post——> YUMMY! For the past two days you have had me seriously jonesing for gnocchi now Im’ jonesing for the chocolate pear torte too!
