It’s difficult to write about dating when you’re wasting away in the middle of a freaking desert! It’s no secret I’m running out of exes to write about, well legitimate exes anyway. And while I’ve been lucky to have a few guest bloggers to help me out on Meet the Exes Mondays, it doesn’t seem to be enough to maintain.
As I’ve mentioned before maybe getting out there and dating again would help, but I just can’t seem to make myself do that right now. Heck, I even signed up for Plenty of Fish at a friend’s suggestion. I can tell you there would be stories to tell, but that’s because most of these people are freaks! Believe me, that is not what I’m looking for!
The online dating site is free, so I guess you get what you pay for. I’ve seen dudes holding apples, paintball guns and even fish in their profile pictures. I’ve read profiles and e-mails from men who at the very least need to learn how to use correct grammar and spell check before contacting me. “I am in the ending stages of a devoice. I have to great children..” Sorry Mr. Bear of a man with the heart of a lion! *DELETE DELETE*
So now what? Well, I’m hoping there are a few good men and women out there who want to write guest posts. I enjoy reading ‘em as much as writing ‘em. If you’re game, send me an e-mail at missattitude@missattitude.us. If not, Meet the Exes Monday may have to go on a hiatus soon.
