If you haven’t already heard I woke up this morning to a lot of water in my condo. Imagine if you will, it’s 3 a.m. and alarm goes off. You’re tired with only 3 1/2 hours sleep, so you hit snooze a few times. Then all of sudden you realize it’s 3:30 and you need to be at work at 4 a.m. You’re laying in bed and hear what sounds like rain outside your window. Then you think to yourself, that rain is really loud. Ridiculously loud. But still nothing registers. You sprint out of bed and into the bathroom only to step in a very large puddle. Wait, what’s going on here? Then you quickly head out into the living room flip on the light, and see pools of water and some of your valuables swimming in those puddles. Unfortunately this is exactly how my morning went… but there’s more.
What I didn’t realize immediately was it was not just any water, it was fecal water, sewage, potty water, poop water, doo doo water, etc. It was soooooooo disgusting! Yuck, right! I’m still not really ready to relive it all here on the blog, even typing it makes me want to cry. So let me entertain you with how I went into action.
Who needs a Shop-Vac when you have a pile of towels! Oh and that’s just one room. You haven’t seen the loft or the bathroom. And I haven’t mentioned how several pair of shoes and a Coach purse were killed by sewage!
